It's a Baby Shower!

Just wanted to share some of the decor I had made for my friend Angela's Baby Shower. This was a small party with only about 8 people so I didn't go all out for the decor, however, I still made it look nice!

This was the confetti on the tables.

This banner was made just for little Brooklynn's room.

The Diaper Cake with live Sunflowers on top.

This is the full view of the onesie clothesline
Photo of the Present table before everyone got there. This animal fabric matches some of the fabric she has in her room for the little one.

So that's all I have to share for you from the baby shower... sorry I didn't take more photos but this was the major items. It was a quaint little get together that was very refreshing..and a lot less stressful.

The theme was the colors of yellow, gray, white with just a tad bit of teal on the fabric. Then she incorporated giraffes (obviously).

Stay tuned for more party photos to come!

La La La La... La La La La... Elmo's World!

Elmo loves his Goldfish.. and crayon's too... that's... Elmo's worllllllllllld!!!! *ahem*

My husband and I are throwing my son an "Elmo Extravaganza" Birthday party on the 17th of September and I wanted to give you a sneak peak. Of course many more photos will be posted as the party is nearer and here!

This was some 7/8" Grosgrain Ribbon that I actually made. I bought a .pdf graphic and ironed it on to the ribbon.

I tend to want to do these letters at almost every party I throw.. because you will not BELIEVE the response I get on them. They are so easy to make and a great eye piece to see!! So clearly my son's Drew... and he gets his name displayed proudly at his birthday party.

Well... I already told you Elmo loved his goldfish.. But this bag is going to have some little goldfish crackers in them! Just a little something parents can take on their way home in case their little ones get hungry!!

That's all I have to show you so far... stay tuned..after next Saturday I will be writing a whole blog on the entire party.

Would love to hear your thoughts so far! :)

Ciao for now...  <3 Stefani

Happy Halloween!!..What? Premature?

Okay Okay I know it's a BIT early to start wishing everyone a Happy Halloween but I L.O.V.E Halloween!!

I'm a member of a WAHM group on facebook who like to do swaps. One person picks secret partners within the group and those partners swap items with each other. These items can be handmade/bought or a little bit of both! So of COURSE i made mini cards!!!

I have this strange fascination with small cards. They're perfect for ANYTHING.

These cards are approximately 3x3 and are made from kraft paper.
1.) Trick or Treat 7/8" Black Grosgrain Ribbon with 3/8" "Trick or Treat" Ribbon attached to the card with brads.

2.) Mini Ghost Die cut with glitter. Adhered with pop-out tab so it comes off the card a bit

3.) Pumpkin Die cut with inked edge and The Twinery's Baker's Twine in peadpod tied around the stem. Stamp was faintly added that said "Halloween"

4.) This is probably my favorite card. A faint "Boo" to match the orange brads and Charcoal twine also from The Twinery.. to add a little touch of Halloween black/orange on the cards.

I hope my swap partner will like them! :)

Ciao for now!

Bridal Shower - Purple/Black

Okay I've promised everyone photos of my parties... so here are some unprofessional photos (basically they were taken by me). This was a Bridal shower that was thrown for my husband's cousins fiancee (did you get all that?). I will show you photos and I'd LOVE feedback!

This was the Prize and Favors Table. I made these cute wooden letter photo frames with some cute ribbon attached. I loved the look/feel of it.

This was some Dot Garland that I made by hand. I think it turned out a lot cuter than I had anticipated! This was hung behind the food table.

So here is the other side of the Prize/Favor table.. I had some balloons on the back side of this table as well. Purple/Black balloons of course!

This was the food table. I had some pretzel salad, sandwiches, punch, water with lemons, salami wrapped peppers, potato salad, chips/dips and some feathers in a vase for decor. I also had some food labels and confetti. (close up of those below).

Everyon'es favorite table.. the Sweet Treats Table. I have my "Bride 2 Be" banner hanging on the black background. In the Apothecary jars are some various candies (purple and black). From Left to right I have Purple Chocolate Dipped Pretzels, cake Pops, Choc. Dipped Oreos, Cupcakes (the cupcakes up top have the "BRIDE" pennant banner" and then the fruit plat to the right corresponded with the chocolate fountain I had sitting on the counter next to it.

These were some paper lanterns I had in hanging in the middle of both tables.

This was a close-up of the Food Labels and Confetti

This was the Welcome sign on the front door.

That's about it! I wanted to give credit to The Twinery for the twine I used for the Bride Pennant Cupcake Toppers as well as the twine accents on the front door sign.

I now have the dot garland and Bridal shower front door sign for sale for someone else to possibly use! So if you're interested be sure to get a hold of me. I promise you I'd give you a steal of a deal!

I'd love some feedback on what you think! :)
